Pale gray badlands form rolling ridges and deeply grooved slopes around winding dry channels, with a narrow rock pillar rising in the middle distance and soft sunlight touching crests above blue-gray shadows.

A Days Time

South-Central Utah. 2023

The light was just right on this morning. After the initial glow of sunrise, the sun went behind layers of clouds, as the sun would peak through, it casted light and shadow across this other-worldly landscape. This type of light I so great for this landscape. The amount of layers, textures, patterns, etc just call for this type of light: Dappled Light.
