Canadian Rockies, Canada. 2024

We hiked up a well-known path, following an undulating trails while the sound of a river flows down below. We ascended until we came to a place where a cirque of frozen waterfalls were. There was no going farther. This cliff face with this tree caught my attention. The same textures and colors I thought were fascinating. It reminded me of a William Neill photograph he made while it he Yosemite Valley. I worked with this scene framing it in a few ways, aspect ratios and more. This may be my favorite image I was able to create while on this photography trip to the Canadian Rockies with Scott.
