Layers, color, silence. That was the essence of this moment in time. Just total immersion and focusing on the smells, crisp January air on my face (the only skin showing), and staying present. This is the moment when I can begin to create images that I feel are thoughtful enough to be placed into this Silent Echoes gallery. I worked through this scene, moving meticulously and slowly. The day was damn cold, hovering around freezing, and even colder being deep down in this canyon where the sun doesn't shine for a good three months out of the year.
