A forest with layers of trees and foliage.

Forest Fur

Northern Montana. 2020

Wild looking Larch Trees with a ton of moss (old mans beard) hanging off of each branch. They make each tree appear dark and full of contrast. Though without the moss, that would not be the case at all. These forests were dense, unique and beautiful. I forget exactly where I was. The only thing I can remember is being in a remote area, on a random dirt road, in the middle of nowhere. I get glimpse of the moment and that day when viewing this image. Man, I miss the smell of pine and greenery in Montana.
