Spotted Bear, Montana. 2019
After a short hike getting pelted with snow and wind, I decided to turn back and head towards the truck. On the way there I noticed the grasses turning from green to yellow to red, in preparation for winter. I also noticed the prevailing winds, moving the grasses frantically and aggressively. Though I couldn't make something just out of that, I needed to show a static object within the motion and found these logs laying in the grasses, covered partially in snow. This gave me the contrast of motion and static objects I needed and wanted.
