One of the best backpacking trips to date. We really had it all on this trip. Pretty damn good conditions, mild temperatures, stunning scenery, no signs of humans and a snowstorm to end it all. This view was one of the most memorable times looking back on this backpacking trip. The views were unreal, the hike was an ass kicker and trail navigation to this point was very enjoyable. The sunset really honed in the great feeling of making it here. With no footprints, cairns, or trails, this is the exact type of trip I really enjoy. I made this route off of Gaia GPS and Google Earth, also a little bit of a blog that I read gave some additional information on this backpacking trip. The unknowns were pleasant surprises as we were discouraged from about anything. The three of us are very versed in this type of experience and we had more than enough water up to this point. The issue lied beyond this point in our backpacking trip.
