Bloodline

Whitefish, Montana. 2021

I was driving a remote dirt road outside of Whitefish Montana, I came to a section of the road where I could hear a strong flow of water to the right, where the sound came from was an impossibly dark and dense forest. I parked and walked into the dense forests. This was an immensely dense forest where light seldomly makes its way to the forest floor. There were hundreds of fallen trees to climb over, many were decomposing, giving the floor an airy feel as you walked on it. Everything covered in moss and mushrooms. I made it to this really cool spot, and worked this scene, thinking of how few people probably have come into here, due to its un-appealing look from the road and when entering the forest.
