Skógafoss, Iceland. 2022

At one of many waterfalls in Iceland, after the temperatures had fallen, the spray of this waterfall froze onto the cliff which the waterfall descended. I found this amazing, and I decided that would be my main focus during this time. While at Skógafoss, I framed up this scene after a while, fired of a few images and decided that incorporating the spray of the waterfall in the lower section of the frame helped with this sense of movement. I began photographing only when that was present in my frame. With many images made, I knew one of them would suffice for the feeling I was going for.
