Two reddish-brown rocks crusted with pale green lichen rest on a broad gray rock surface mottled with dark patches and winding shallow grooves, with smaller stones scattered nearby.
Intimate Scenes

Camo-Rock

Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. 2025

Rock art is one of my most enjoyed visuals. The types of small life that thrives on rocks is very fascinating to me. This scene, if you can tell, is an area that water flows through often. It's a small washout section from the sandstone canyon above it. This adds to the amount of life that is on all of these rocks and boulders. The camouflage effect this gives is what drew me in, as this is an idea I have had for a gallery for many years. I just haven't pursued it enough to make a gallery out of it. But enjoy this one.
