Southwest DesertCanyon Country
Canyon Country, Utah.
In the depths of Utah’s canyon country, a remote river winds through over 80 miles of untouched wilderness—one of the last truly wild stretches of desert in the American Southwest.
This is not a place you stumble upon. It requires effort, intention, and reverence. I’ve explored this canyon on foot, hauling gear across slickrock and sand, always chasing light, silence, and perspective. I've stood on its rim imagining what it would be like to float its serpentine course by raft—completely removed from civilization.
Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. The rawness, the solitude, the geological power carved into every bend—this is nature unfiltered. It’s where inspiration lives and where perspective is earned, not given.
To witness a landscape this pristine is humbling, and being able to photograph it, let alone guide others to experience it, is something I’ll never take for granted.
