Canadian Rockies - Castle Mountain 2024
Scott and I hiked out here in total darkness. As one does when wanting to arrive at a great location for the best light. Though when we arrived, we waited and waited and no light came in. Hours had passed and as we were packing up our gear, light began to make its way onto Castle Mountain. The light was unreal, warm-toned light cutting across low clouds onto the peaks high above the river. I photographed many scenes but this one is the one I honed in and stayed with for an additional hour working with varying light.
