Canyon Country, Utah.
Colors of the Soul. Music of the simple life. What a great experience that is. Not a worry in the world. Very few thoughts to be spent on anything besides the present moment. All attention is on the moment: textures, colors, layers, light, connecting. I came to this dry-fall in this canyon, skirting around residual water from a storm that occurred weeks before this moment. I went on top and back down because of the colors took me a second to acknowledge. I then stood here creating this piece of art, focusing on variety of colors and layers moving through this fairly small scene. I was pretty amazed by the range of colors and tonalities. I knew in the moment I was really going to enjoy this image after the processing session was completed. And I do.
