Connection

Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. 2025

During a sunset photography tour, we were greeted with some amazing light. Instead of hiking to my typical spot, we stopped early because of the phenomenal light that was happening on the Waterpocket Fold here in Capitol Reef. As we hiked to this spot, we instantly set up tripods to begin the process of creating atleast one great image. As the light swept across the landscape again and again, it changed locations throughout the landscape, revealing some natural features and hiding others in shadows. The distant Henry Mountains were also getting dappled light with some nice cloud formations.
