Silent Echoes

Echo Chamber

Canyon Country, Utah.

Day one of three, just finally getting immersed into nature, peeling of the layers of civilization that are hard to shake. Anger, resentment, so many contradictory viewpoints from so many others on social media, everyone having to have a damn opinion and share it to the world, even though most of their "ideas" are what the mass media has been telling them to think and say. This is exactly what was going on in my mind while photographing this scene, hours and miles from the nearest person. Echo Chamber; the title of the image. The essence of what I put into this image. The emotional stamp I put here. Explained: large groups of people stacked together (the rocks), fed the same info, spewing the same info to one another, not expanding their ideas nor beliefs. Only wanting to be right and make others feel like shit for thinking differently. Beyond the Echo-Chamber is freedom, a path out.
