Death Valley National Park, California. 2023
A beam of light coming over the eastern mountains, through a notch in the ridge-line, illuminating a small section of the Eureka Dunes in Death Valley. The light landed with ease, growing stronger and longer by the second. I used this in order to frame the dunes by the shadows that were ever present. Where light hadn't had the time of day to land on just yet. It's in these quick moments of change is when I find myself making my best work.
