Iceland. 2022
On our way back from an ice cave photo session, our driver stopped here to inflate the vehicle tires. We jumped out to take a look around, not thinking of making an image. To my surprise, the light came in suddenly and made the foreground glow in a vibrant yellow hue. As the background lay in the cool shadows of ice-capped glaciers. The contrast peaked my interest, and it gave an interesting feeling to the stark contrast and obvious change in land. I sat on this image for a long time, and though it is not the most striking and compelling composition, I do really enjoy it for what it is.
