Blurred tree trunks form broad vertical bands of tan, gray, and brown, with narrow streaks of golden foliage and dark shadows filling the spaces between them.

Groovin

Fishlake National Forest, Utah. 2025

Deep into twilight, I wondered into a nearby aspen grove. I had no plans, no where to go and no place to be. I attempted to showcase the beauty in front of me but it was not happening. It wasn't revealing the textures, depth, light, color variations, etc. So, with some experimenting, some ICM did the trick. This genuinely created the feeling more than a still image was doing. It felt more me, and real then any other attempt did. Enjoy!
