As snow approaches the Continental Divide, these tall peaks, known as the Garden Wall, stop all storms, which allows immense snowfall along the Going to the Sun Road. The peaks tower overhead, as did these in this scene. The fresh snowfall had me wanting to create a nice image, even more so with the low fog that would rise and fall. The Garden Wall and the peaks that reside would move in and out of the fast-moving, snow-producing clouds. This area is not the best to be in while snow is falling. Just below, in the fog, is the Highline Trail in Glacier National Park.
