Silent Echoes

Hell & Back

Canyon Country, Utah.

In those moments of moving slow, thinking slowly, thoughts and emotions arise from within and those thoughts are brought to life from the nature that surrounds you. Epiphanies come to consciousness, or the other way around. Connecting ideas, connecting to the source. Whatever it is, it feels great. It slows everything down. Though, these thoughts may not come with a great, uplighting emotion. Often, with grief, comes these creative, in-depth ideas. As was with this one. This dark, dark section of canyon, with just a sliver of dark orange light creeping its way into the scene from behind layers of canyon walls. This scene reminds of me going deep into the darkness in order to be shown the light once again. A passage of life, of man-hood, of becoming the newer version of yourself.
