Iceland, Glacier Lagoon, 2022
I decided to really zoom in on the details of these glaciers. I see similar patterns and shapes as I see in the desert landscape of my home. The sun was rising and as it made landfall, it reflected off of these glaciers. I was hoping for a little more than what I was given, but it was enjoyable to watch the light closley with my full attention on these few icebergs. The way the light grazed the sheer wall of the iceberg, showing the changes of light to dark blue with almost black verticle lines, contrasting the sharp textures of the foreground, is something I found quite enjoyable in this scene. I waited to see if anything would change to enhance the image, but with the angle of the sun and icebergs, the light did not get any better.
