Utah Southwest. 2019
A wild landscape full of crazy textures, patterns and nulls made from sandstone which were once sand dunes but have been petrified and have been eroded down to these beautiful patterns and shapes. The light was phenomenal on this particular morning. It was soft, angled, warm light that showcased these mounds wonderfully. Not creating contrast just subtle light showcasing the qualities of texture, shapes, lines and more. All that is this landscape is all about. This location is just outside of St. George, Utah. A location that used to be very quiet, one that you wouldn't see another person for a day or two at a time. That is not the case anymore unfortunately.
