Days upon days of not great conditions. We rolled up to another area to see what we can given the dreary sky and warm conditions. This scene spoke to me and I worked with it for quite some time. Instead of photographing a nearby river, I stuck with this tree and the framing elements which surrounded it. I wanted to frame this tree using the branched which are slightly out of focus and simplify the background making it pure white, or close to. After moving around while maintaining focus on this subject, I decided I had to have the image I was after and I did.
