A warm February, Elena and I decided to go backpacking out in this region. One of our favorite places on earth. It's rough going to get out here, then you have to hike in a few miles. The days were wildly warm for this time of year and we took full advantage by staying out here for three days. It was just her and I. Not a single sound made by humans, not any trash, footprints or anything. Wilderness.
