Snow blankets orange rock spires and layered cliffs across a vast canyon, with scattered evergreen trees among the formations and distant ridges fading beneath dark gray clouds.
Winter Scenes

Open Up

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. 2024

Layers of the landscapes of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. This was during this years winter workshop here in Bryce Canyon - (2025). This year was one of the most stunning displays of winter conditions I have seen to date. I have been going to Bryce Canyon to photograph winter conditions for probably 12 years at this point. Though on this visit, during this workshop, we received about 36-inches of snow in just a day and a half. The golden light came into the landscape just after sunrise and it showcased the layers phenomenally well. To see this scene with this light, and this amount of snow is a one of those moments you will never forget.
