A heavy cloud came over the mountain, lending a darkness to each moment, lending an ominous sense to each moment. The rain poured for hours and hours. It finally let up and it was as silent as ever. Only the sound of raindrops falling off of the forests surrounding me. A heavy darkness still laid overhead, feeling as if it was 20 minutes after sunset, thought it as an hour before sunset. The trees and forests were moody, the green of pines were dark green, the smell of pine filled the air, literally. I hiked all around photographing and just enjoying the scenery.
