Utah Badlands

Crazy steam and fog rises off of the Utah Badlands, striking hills and cliffs in the morning sun. The night before was an absolute downpour! It rained all night, forcing us out of a camping spot due to potential of flash floods and getting stuck. As morning came, fog was all around us, as we flew our drones. The fog left and so did we. Though I took a different route than my buddy David. I went a route and ended up seeing steam rising from the Bandland hills. Which was created from warm sunlight landing on the soaking wet badlands. Creating steam. This was a crazy cool experience and one that I haven't ever seen before. I photographed for a solid two hours but when the sun rose higher, the steam left the scene.
