Shedding Layers

Canyon Country, Utah.

I was honed in. After a few days alone, not a single man-made noise, besides planes, entered my ears. Not a single human made anything was in eye-sight. After shedding those layers of civilization, your truer self steps forward slowly. It's a feeling I can't describe to those who haven't felt it. But it is freeing. It is weightless. Like holding space for myself to be myself. To create, to feel connected to once we all came; nature. I know deeply, everything is alive. Plants, birds, rocks and all. The air is a streaming vibration of consciousness, alive in nature, one to tap into and feel something outside of yourself. This is a place to be. Mentally, emotionally, this feels so god damn good. When in this state, creating art is an outward emotion, a connection between your small rectangle of composition to your inner self. It's the circle of life in the creative creation aspect of life. Something I strive for but seem to rarely get nowadays. But this day, this was one of those.
