Glacier Lagoon, Iceland. 2022
On one of the chilliest mornings of the workshop, we were greeted with -10 degrees. The wind wasn't too bad but enough to send a chill down your spine. Most of the crew fled to the nearby cafe, where hot chocolate and coffee resided. I did end up there myself, but not without spending some quiet time with the silent, grinding sound of glaciers moving in this glacier lagoon. If you pay enough attention, you can see a repetition of lines and shapes from foreground to background. These significant details drew me in and motivated me to make an image. Again, just listening, watching, and being ever present to allow images to come forward. There is nothing that I enjoy more than this.
