The horror stories and ghostly tales of this black sand beach come true on this piece of ice, which looks like the bones of humans remains. On my first trip to this spot in Iceland back in 2017, I was told a creepy, first-hand story. It didn't effect me all that much, but later in that trip, we ended up here in the night, all alone and having gone our separate ways. On this day, I was reminded of that story as I was enthralled by these unique ice patterns on top of the black sand beach. This reminded me of bones, like the many vessel crashes that had happened over time on this very section of coastline.
