Among The Dead

Frost covered pine cones, most of them decaying and fragile to the touch. Though some new pine cones were introduced at some point in the past month or so. Their color was still vibrant and their shape was pristine. The contrast of these pine cones: dead vs alive. colorful vs pale. I loved this relationship of these contrasting features. The repeating shapes was the real subject and the contrast of those topics mentioned is what added the extra value to the scene here.
