Autumn Colors

Role Play

There was a time period where the Birch trees leaves had just fallen off as the Larch trees were in their golden yellow coat. This sene depicts the layers of autumn, covering just that. The bare Birch trees were at the shoreline of the North Fork River, as the Larch trees were on the opposing side of the river and on the nearest hillside. Lending an option to photograph them appearing closer together then they actually were. I worked similar scenes through many times, showing this moment in time, not to last long in northern Montana. A new snow storm could come in and zap all the color from the Larches. Nonetheless, I photographed consistently for weeks upon weeks in hopes to do this place justice and to find my solitude and peace.
