Assuage

Days upon days I spent walking around these dense forests of Larch Trees in the Spotted Bear Wilderness of Northern Montana. Each forest had similarities though each zone was special in its own-right. I instantly enjoyed working with this scene, in the early hours of the day. I enjoyed the darkness of the scene, one golden Larch Tree in the midst of absolute chaos. No real direct light was present, just a subtle diffused light came into the forests. A moment of relief... I was mourning a death of one of my absolute best friends. When I got back to Montana from Utah for the funeral, and seeing friends and family, grieving and crying, I knew I had to get out and be alone. Four days I would spend in this region, and a week before, I spend six-days out in another area of Montana. Alone.
