Reflecting light on a nice set of dry and dead leaves in Capitol Reef National Park. The details of these colorful and dead leaves are exaggerated due to the reflecting light, giving these leaves details and subtle contrast that would otherwise be overlooked. It is scenes like this that get my creative juices flowing. I really love this image because of the subtle fall colors, but mainly because it tells the story of a stage of life that most people would never think about or stop looking at. The leaves have not lived out their days; they will decompose into oils that will fertilize the soil for years to come.

Acrylic, Luster & Canvas Options
Each medium presents light, color, and texture differently. Every option is produced to order with archival, gallery-quality materials and personally reviewed before shipping.
01
Luminous depth and clarity
The photograph is presented beneath optically clear acrylic, giving color a rich, dimensional quality and preserving crisp detail. Acrylic has a polished, contemporary presence and responds beautifully to natural or directed light.
Especially suited for
Bold color, fine detail, and modern spaces
02
Classic photographic character
Printed on archival photographic paper with a refined luster surface, this option balances rich tonal range with low glare. Its subtle texture feels traditional and intimate. Framing is available by request.
Especially suited for
Soft light, nuanced tones, and flexible framing
03
Tactile and understated
Canvas introduces a gentle woven texture that softens reflections while retaining the atmosphere and color of the original scene. Hand-finished edges create a complete, ready-to-display artwork with a warm physical presence.
