Mountain Landscapes

Falling Sky

Fast moving rain storms would come in waves in Glacier National Park. At points, the sun would burst through, illuminating the falling rain, creating light beams that would shine for miles across the valley floor and onto Saint Mary Lake. I stood here and watched the light change, the rain come and go. This kind of weather is what I love when out in these grand landscapes. The dead trees, light rays, and the mountains of Red Eagle, Mahtotopa Mountain and Little Chief Mountain, in a silhouette behind surreal conditions of rain and light.
