Mountain Landscapes

Saint Sunrise

This view, one of the more stunning out there. This shows so many peaks, fall colors, streams and fall foliage of low bushes to birch trees. This view, just off the main Going To The Sun Road, near Saint Mary, is an easy to see location. Though, arriving here at sunrise is not so easy. This is hours from my home, which meant I had to camp, illegally, in my car near the employee housing area of Glacier National Park. Though this really isn't a big deal, it is necessary for myself who refuse to pay for lodging or for a campsite. The mountains here are ridiculously scenic. Some of the mountains you can see are: Red Eagle Mountain Elevation: 8,763 ft, Mahtotopa Mountain 8,599 ft, Little Chief Mountain Elevation: 9,406 ft, Dusty Star Mountain Elevation: 7,986 ft. Citadel Mountain Elevation: 8,993 ft. These all tower over Saint Mary Lake. Making you feel small in comparison to these glacier carved peaks.
