Cycles

A classic fall storm cycle moving through the Continental Divide as seen from Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. The storms that move through this region tend to be intense; lots of rain and thunder. Given the time of year, a ton of snow at higher elevations also. Lake McDonald is known for its pristine, clear water with colorful rocks laying underneath the surface. Not necessarily for the autumn season. Which is a season I fell in love with the moment the underlying brush began to change. Here is a clash of seasons; Autumn and winter. A combination that every landscape photographer wished to witness and do justice. I am happy to have seen this myself, even more so in Glacier National Park. Enjoy!
