Autumn Colors

Blockade

The Continental Divide of Glacier National Park, the Livingston Mountain Range, receives the last light of the day as the yellow and green aspen trees stand at the edge of a large meadow. The sunset clouds are just lighting up with so much color, above the tall mountains of Glacier National Park. Sonderson Meadow, on the west side of Glacier Park, near Polebridge, is an area less frequently visited and photographed. I did spend some time right in this area but not as much as just south of here about 8 miles or so. The mountains here, if I remember correctly are; Parke Peak, and Reuter Peak, Numa Peak, Mount Peabody. The mountains are tall and jagged, with glaciers residing on the eastern side of the mountain faces.
