Party Hardy

Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Utah. 2026

All of the new green: wild cottonwoods doing their amazing thing, sagebrush smelling fresh new green leaves, and life just thriving, desert style. I hadn't walked into this canyon before, oddly enough, because I have driven passed it probably a hundred times at this point. And damn it did not disappoint. Grand Staircase National Monument does never disappoint. Though this morning, I was feeling weird, under the weather, sick? Mostly distant from the reality that was happening at every moment. One thing that brought me back into the present was this scene right here. I loved thee way the large cottonwoods were surround by younger ones. I loved the sagebrush in the bottom, coming into the scene for a party, to join the fun of the larger life the exists in here. What a lovely day.
