Fading to Night

After a storm rolled through with high-intensity winds, sunset was around the bend. The storm left quickly and just as fast, the light came in. It was low and angled as it illuminated part of this landscape. The red cliff, standing 1,200 feet tall, below a 11,000ft mountain, stood in warm illumination. All behind the feature stood in light shadow, everything in shadow was covered in a present white of fresh laid snow. I love these snow-storms that move through this region of Utah.. My home. These mountains and cliffs are viewable from my home in Torrey. So, when I am in the home, I just watch the storms move through these features while drinking my coffee or eating my dinner, in constant awe of what I am witnessing.
