A mirage of retreating shapes and colors from a dense section of young Larch trees on a nearby hills-side, which eventually led up to a large mountain. This area, as many of Montana had been burnt to a crisp many years before. As these new growth trees move in, they come in droves, millions upon millions. You can see remnants of the old forest, black vertacle lines of burnt trees come out of the yellow larches.
