An aspen grove stands in the shadows as the first light of day makes its way into the forest. Resulting in side-lit autumn-colored leaves and the white and blue bark of the aspen trees. The aspen trees continually make a V shape, which repeats itself throughout the scene here. I tried to emphasize this in order to create more visual interest in the composition, which ended up working quite well. Another aspect of this fall-colored aspen forest scene that I enjoyed is the separation of the lower aspen trees in the distance from the taller aspen leaf colors at the top of the frame.
