Sunlit mountains rise beneath a cloudy sky.
Mountain Landscapes

Bear Alley

A crazy dark and moody morning! The Fireweed was in full bloom, the clouds were dark and ominous, this scene came after one of the most colorful, glowing sunrises I have literally ever seen! It was on fire! Check out the image called "Eruption". It is a toned down version of what really occurred. Though this image, not showcasing those colorful hues in the sky, is rather revealing an intense version of light and shadow as well as color but not a glowing hue of orange necessarily. This scene, showing Going-to-the-Sun Mountain, standing at an Elevation: 9,642 ft. And the Fireweed at the base of the image, surrounded by dead pine trees standing 80 feet in the air, and the sky itself looking like it's going to open up and start dumping hail, snow or a tornado. This entire morning was intensity after intensity.
